Example 1:

Example 2:

80 days after sign-up, Jack has accumulated $1499 in purchases, excluding refunds and unpaid orders. Jack will therefore be rewarded with the Platinum Membership.

Jack does not make any further purchases and by the 120th day after his initial sign up, the $799 in purchases made in the first 30 days can no longer be applied to his discount membership.
